Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - HealthOur Lady of Resurrection Medical Center, 5645 West Addison Street, will hold a free health fair on July 21st from 9am- 1pm. Free screenings will include: glucose and blood pressure, osteoporosis, body mass index, lung disease and liver disease, foot, vision and balance. Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, 2233 West Division Street offers free cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and body mass index screenings every Monday from 9am-10:30am. Walk-ins are welcome. Call 312-770-3434 for more information.

The American Kidney fund will be offering free kidney health screenings in a variety of locations throughout the Chicago land area with four dates scheduled for July: Thursday, July 12 at the Pentecostal Church of God, 3250 S. Indiana Ave from 9am- noon; Saturday, July 14 at the Rainbow Push Health Event (Location TBA) from 11am- 3pm; Sunday, July 15 at the Shiloh Block Party, 7000 S. Michigan Ave from 8am- 11am; and Friday, July 27 at the Organ Donor Benefit Concert in St. Luke MB Church, 7262 S. Coles Ave from 6pm-9pm. McCormick Place will be hosting the Rock n Roll Chicago Health and Fitness Expo from Friday, July 20th- Sunday, July 22nd.
