New Festival is on Tap: Square Roots

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsThe Old Town School of Folk Music and the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce present Lincoln Square’s first ever craft beer and music experience. Square Roots is not your ordinary street festival – the festival will have ten breweries with Chicago roots and musical acts that create a worldly experience for all.

Square Roots may be a beer focused event, but it didn’t forget about Chicago families. Kids, put on your dancing shoes for a mix of Story-time, Irish, Urban or Cuban dance lessons. Square Roots Festival will be Friday, July 20th 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21st 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 22nd 12:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. Festival events will take place on Lincoln Avenue between Montrose and Wilson.
