Forums Offer Opportunity to Shape Parks

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsThe Chicago Park District will host regional forums to gather public input to help shape the 2013 budget. The forums provide an opportunity for residents to bring forth ideas and express concerns about their local parks. “The Chicago Park District relies on these forums to find out what our patrons need and want at their parks,” said Chicago Park District General Superintendent Michael Kelly. “Whether their concerns are about capital improvements or program offerings, these hearings provide a valuable opportunity for the public to help us shape our budget and their neighborhood park.”
