Bats, Bears, and Bongos at Milwaukee County Zoo’s ‘Boo at the Zoo’

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsThe Milwaukee County Zoo will be filled with a host of Halloween activities as Sendik’s Food Markets presents “Boo at the Zoo” Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Here are some of the barely scary activities:

  • Join our Halloween Haystack Maze, creatively constructed with haystacks and costumed characters! See how fast you can finish through the winding pathways!
  • Have a howling good time and meet our popular (and friendly) Halloween character, Captain Jack Sparrow, as he entertains visitors.
  • Do your best bat imitation and choose bat ears to wear, such as an insectivore or vampire species.

Reduced admission rates apply on both Friday and Saturday evening. Adult admission is $6.50 juniors are $5 and children 2 years-old and under are free. For further details on all Halloween activities at the Zoo, call the Zoo’s Public Affairs and Services Division at 414-256-5466.
