Casa Central Aims to Improve Diet Plans for Older Adults

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - HealthCasa Central announced its participation in the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program. The same meals will be served at no separate charge to enrolled participants at Casa Central’s Adult Wellness Center, 1343 North California Ave. The Adult Wellness Center is open from 9a.m., to 3p.m., Monday through Friday.

This program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Department on Aging, gives financial assistance to adult day care services so that nutritious meals can be integrated with non-residential care services.
