National Latino Education Institute (NLEI) celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting their annual soiree this year at the Cantina Laredo on Monday, Oct. 1st. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about NLEI’s mission and honored the organization for its continued outreach into the Latino community. “On behalf of NLEI we want to thank everyone who has shown their support,” said Executive Director of NLEI Elba Aranda-Suh. All proceeds collected that night will benefit the various programs that are part of NELI’s mission to enhance the quality of life for Latinos across the city.
