‘Queen of the Universe School’ Parent Council, led by Principal Jessica Lopez (right, back row), hosted State Senator Martin Sandoval (D-12) at their monthly meeting, in West Lawn. Senator Sandoval, an avid education advocate, has been making it a priority to visit all of the schools in his new legislative district (11). Senator Sandoval represents the Southwest Side of Chicago that includes the neighborhoods of West Lawn, Gage Park, Brighton Park, Archer Heights, Little Village, Garfield Ridge and the suburbs of Stickney, Cicero and Berwyn.
