Moraine Valley Elects Chamber of Commerce President

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducacionAndrea Ramirez-Justin of Orland Hills, a member of the Moraine Valley Community College Board of Trustees, has been elected president of the Mokena Chamber of Commerce. Ramirez-Justin, a vice president of the Old Plank Trail Community Bank in Mokena, was installed as the 2013-14 president on January 25 at the 2013 Chamber Inaugural Fiesta Celebration.

Ramirez-Justin, who was appointed in August 2012 to the Moraine Valley board, says she is “so proud to be a part of Moraine. There’s always a welcoming feeling. We have such a wonderful diversity of students. Everyone wants to help our students succeed. I know there will be challenges, but I’m not afraid to make those tough decisions if we need to.”
