Bridget McMahon Fitzgerald, Queen of the 2013 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, visited City Hall accompanied by members of her court and the Shannon Rovers Pipe Band. Ms. Fitzgerald presented Alderman Edward M. Burke with a formal invitation to attend the parade. Fitzgerald, 24, hails from Western Springs and is a graduate of Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois, and John Carroll University in Ohio. Fitzgerald, who was chosen from more than eighty contestants, will lead the parade.
