Courses at NLEI Open in May

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationThe National Latino Education Institute (NLEI) will begin two professional training programs in allied health starting on Tuesday, May 7th at its main campus, 2011 West Pershing Road in Chicago.

Our Phlebotomy Program opens two sessions, on May 7th in the evening and on May 14th during daytime. Phlebotomists are responsible for drawing blood samples for laboratory testing, blood donations and analysis. Phlebotomists work as part of a medical team at hospitals, clinics, commercial labs and blood banks.

Medical Assistants are in high demand in today’s health care market, and demand is expected to continue rising. Our program begins on May 20th and includes hands-on training in lab procedures, health sciences and medical law and ethics.
