Hernandez Organizes Mortgage Relief Program for Residents

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsState Representative Lisa Hernandez is joining State Senator Steven Landek and State Representative Michael Zalewski to host a Mortgage Relief Project to help homeowners who are struggling to keep their homes in the face of today’s difficult economy. The Mortgage Relief Project, which is part of the Illinois Foreclosure Prevention Network established by Governor Pat Quinn, can help you take advantage of programs to help you lower your mortgage, avoid foreclosure and keep your home. The program is being held Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration open only until 12 noon. The event will be held at Morton West High school, 2400 S. Home Ave., in Berwyn.
