Mark World Turtle Day with the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum at the annual family-favorite Tea with the Turtles! Guests will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with turtles and other special species from the museum’s living collections, discover fun facts about these wonderful animals, and learn about the threats that many of the species face each day. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Other activities include a slide show about the endangered turtle species at the museum, games with a turtle twist, games to test turtle knowledge and turtle-themed arts and crafts. Tea with the Turtles will take place Saturday, May 18th from 11a.m., to 1p.m., at The Peggy Notebaert Museum, 2430 N. Canon Dr. The cost for members is $15, for non-members $20, and $10 per child ages 3 and up.
