UrbanTheater Company (UTC) is back! Under the leadership of Executive Director Ivan Vega, UTC announced its 2013/2014 season. UTC will kick off their Eighth Season with the Midwest Premiere of First Class byCandido Tirado, directed by Juan Castañeda, featuring Ivan Vega and Hank Hilbert. Followed by Desi Moreno-Penson’s Devil Land, chosen from UTC’s R.A.W. (Real. Aggressive. Writing.) Series.
On Wednesday, August 14th from 6-9pm join UTC for their Barrio Bash Friendraiser at Coco | 2723 W Division St (between Washtenaw Ave. and California Ave.). At the Barrio Bash you’ll have a rare opportunity to party with UTC, get a sneak peak of the season opener, “First Class”, and be a part of our journey “from the streets to the stage”.
