The Cicero Mexican Cultural Committee & President Larry Dominick are proud to sponsor EL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS in Cicero.  Children have been working very hard creating works of art, with artist Teresa Magaña throughout the month of October where she was teaching them art, the history and the traditions of at the Day of The Dead.  The celebration and art created by these youngsters will exhibit their altars, and works of art will be at the Cicero Public Library 5225 West Cermak Rd. this Friday, November 1, 2013 in Cicero from 5PM-9PM.  Special tributes to recognize community activists including Hector Gamboa, an activist in the Chicano movement, will be honored at the event.
