Jedlicka Performing Arts Center Announces ‘Standing in Mattoon’

Jedlicka Performing Arts Center recently announced a new theatrical production of the comedy STANDING IN MATTOON by Tim Clue and spike Manton. Directed by Clue, the play runs from Jan. 10 thru Feb. 1 at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center located at 3801 S. Central Ave. in Cicero.

STANDING IN MATTOON is comedy about a recently divorced bagel factory worker who believes she’s played out her life in Mattoon, IL, a reverend who’s losing his congregation to a nearby Mega Church and an enigmatic stranger. These bizarre encounters are told through the lense of an ice cream vendor who once rant he local paper.

The cast features Angela Bullard, Rachel Christianson, Sean Cowan, Sam Fain, Chelsea Hunter, Ron Keaton, Gary Murphy, Mark Nelson, Gary Saipe and Kristen Williams.
