Movement to Empower Chicago Families this Summer

For the first time ever, Chicago parents searching for summer programs for their children—from sports and recreation, to music and tutoring—can find them in one location: McCormick Place. The Summer Program Fair, organized and hosted by ParentPowerChicago, opens in the convention center’s Lakeside Ballroom on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Representatives from hundreds of programs, citywide, will be on site to provide information, answer questions and register students in their desired program. The ParentPowerChicago Summer Program Fair is open to the public. Admission is free. Pre-registered parents will be eligible for one of several raffle prizes, including two $250 scholarships and two Kindle Fire tablets. Registration is available online at parentpowerchicago.com or by calling 773-907-2777.
