Michael Olsen, MD, emergency medicine physician, is the recipient of this year’s physician HOPE Award at Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (PSMEMC). Dr. Olsen, who joined the medical staff in 2009 and works in the Emergency Department, was recognized for exemplifying the new core values of the ministry: Honesty, Oneness, People and Excellence (HOPE). A Lakeview resident, Dr. Olsen was presented the award at a special reception on April 9 at the medical center. PSMEMC physicians and employees at the Saint Mary Hospital and Saint Elizabeth Hospital Campuses had an opportunity to nominate a doctor for the award.
