Holy Cross Hospital announces appointment of a new team of specialist doctors and physician assistants for its Emergency Room at California Avenue and 69th Street (also known as Lithuanian Plaza). Hospital officials report the doctors are board certified in emergency medicine meaning they have special knowledge and skills in immediate recognition, evaluation, care and stabilization of patients with urgent medical needs. The Holy Cross Hospital Emergency Room, which regularly receives more incoming ambulances than any other in the state, is a vital part of Illinois’ emergency care network.
