Low-Price Grocery Leader ALDI Reopens Chicago Lawn Store with a Fresh Look

Beginning Friday, July 25, ALDI, will once again offer grocery shoppers a smarter alternative as the select assortment discount grocer reopens its store on Chicago’s Southwest side, located at 6025 S. Western. Known for its premium ALDI exclusive brands, ALDI is able to offer high-quality grocery items at incredibly low prices.

Originally opened in February 1998, the new store will feature higher ceilings, improved natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials – such as recycled materials and energy-saving refrigeration and light bulbs. The store will offer customers a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.

To celebrate the new store, ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m., and a BBQ event from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Friday, July 25. The public is invited to attend. Additionally, guests are welcome to tour the store, sample ALDI exclusive brand products and enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win ALDI gift certificates.

ALDI also saves shoppers money by keeping stores open during prime shopping times. The newly remodeled location will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
