Loretto Hospital’s Annual Back-to-School Fitness Fun Fest is returning for its fourth consecutive year on August 30th. The back-to-school fitness fun fest is an effort by Loretto Hospital and its partnering sponsors to decrease obesity in the inner city by introducing Chicago-area children to healthy and active lifestyle choices while having fun doing it.

The event will begin at 11a.m., to 2p.m., at Loretto Hospital in the Harrison Street entrance parking lot. Participants will enjoy a healthy lunch and treats, along with entertainment by a surprise celebrity and activities, including: Zumba fitness class; jumping and rock climbing inflatables; nutritional stations; the Jessie White Tumblers; and much more. In addition, all attendees will receive a special back-to-school gift.
