Latino Music Festival Presents Closing Night Performance

The ninth Latino Music Festival, the city’s only festival dedicated in its entirety to Latin American classical and new music, presents an out of this world closing night performance from two of the most avant-garde bands in the Chicago music scene: acclaimed guitarist Fareed Haque’s latest musical project “MathGames!” and Volcano Radar. This one of a kind musical encounter will take place on Thursday, December 4, 8 pm at Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave. General admission is $15; tickets can be bought online at www.maynestage.com or at the venue’s box office the night of the event. “MathGames!” and Volcano Radar will play their own sets and an improvised third set together. The Latino Music Festival is funded by the Joyce Foundation with additional support from: The MacArthur Fund for Arts and Culture at Prince, the Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, and the Illinois Arts Council –a state agency.
