Latina Style has named the General Motors Hispanic Initiative Team (GM HIT) as one of the top five Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for 2014 in recognition of its exceptional leadership.

“It is an honor for our GM Hispanic Initiative Team (GM HIT) to be recognized for our combined contributions to make GM the workplace, company and partner of choice for our Hispanic employees, community and customers,” said Antoinette Fox, President GM HIT. “As a Top 5 Latina Style ERG, we have an opportunity to benchmark with the best of the best and bring those lessons back to GM.”

GM HIT strives to live the GM values through its mission of attracting, developing and retaining Hispanic employees to grow relationships with the Hispanic community and promote growth of GM’s Hispanic market share. In 2014, GM HIT expanded its efforts to engage members nationally adding new regional chapters and reaching out to remote members to participate at events across the country.

The selected Employee Resource Groups will be recognized at the 12th Annual LATINA Style 50 Awards Ceremony & Diversity Leaders Conference on Thursday, February 5, 2015.
