Young Chicago Authors Presents: 15th Annual Louder Than A Bomb Poetry Festival

Young Chicago Authors (YCA) will host the 15th annual Louder Than A Bomb (LTAB), the largest youth poetry festival in the world. LTAB features more than 1,200 students from more than 120 Chicago-area schools sharing stories with 10,000-plus audience members. This year’s theme is Power To The Poets. The festival will feature more than 90 events including the LTAB 15th Anniversary Gala hosted by Alec Baldwin, multiple Olympic-style poetry bouts, workshops and theatrical performances culminating in Indy and Team Finals (March 21, 2015 at the Art Institute of Chicago and March 28, 2015 at the Arie Crown Theater, respectively). Crossing The Street: Feb. 21, 2015.
Preliminary Bouts: Feb. 25, 2015 at Columbia College Chicago.
Benefit Gala: March 1, 2015, hosted by Alec Baldwin.
Indy Finals: March 21, 2015 at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Emcee Olympics: Date TBA.
Team Finals: March 28, 2015 at the Arie Crown Theater.
This Is Modern Art (Based On True Events): A play by Kevin Coval and Idris Goodwin. Feb. 25-March 14, 2015 at Steppenwolf Theater Company.
