Berwyn South School District 100 Director Selected as Apple Educator

Berwyn South School District 100’s Instructional Director Shannon Soger was selected to be a part of the Apple Distinguished Educator Class of 2015. Soger is one of 646 educators selected worldwide from over 28 countries.

Soger is part of a global community of education leaders who are recognized for their work in and out of the classroom utilizing technology to enhance learning. They explore new ideas, seek new paths, and embrace new opportunities to bring the new innovative ideas to students everywhere.

The Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) Program began in 1994, when Apple recognized K-12 and higher education pioneers who are using a variety of Apple products to transform teaching and learning in powerful ways. Soger will be one of the more than 2,500 Apple Distinguished Educators worldwide selected since the program’s inception. Soger will travel to Miami, Florida this summer to share her talents with other winners from across North America.
