Berwyn South School District 100’s Bilingual Advisory Committee and Title Compact Parent group along with the Berwyn Public Library invite the community to celebrate “El Día Del Niño” on Thursday, April 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Middle School. The event is free and open to the public. Motivational Speaker Juan Ortiz will share his five keys to success. Ortiz, the eldest of six children, was poor and raised in abusive home. If not for the example of courage his mother and the leadership of friends, Ortiz wouldn’t be alive today. Ortiz’s combination of humor, honesty and compassion is captivating and life changing.
