Debbie Wieczorek Celebrates 40th Anniversity at Community Savings Bank

Debbie Wieczorek celebrated her 40th anniversary with Community Savings Bank in March. She is one of many long-serving employees currently working at the bank. Wieczorek started working at Community part-time while a student at Foreman High School as part of the office occupation program. Her family lived in the Cicero Belmont neighborhood and her parents were actually Community mortgage customers. Mrs. Wieczorek began her full time career at Community as a teller in 1976 and was promoted to head teller in 1979. In the late 1980s, Debbie became coordinator of Community’s Electronic Banking Department and managed the bank’s ATMs and participation in its ATM Networks. In 1989, she was promoted to Assistant Secretary and became an officer of Community.

Today, Wieczorek is the bank’s Information Technology manager and is responsible for managing Community’s computer network and information systems. This includes maintenance of the bank’s communications systems and software applications. She also serves on a number of internal bank committees. Dane Cleven, President and Chairman of Community said: “Debbie has a very important role here at Communitty. She is responsible for making sure that the bank’s computers and networks are always operating efficiently. Debbie has held a number of postions here at Community over the years.
