Die-hard Thalia fans now have another way to connect with the superstar singer. Macy’s and Thalia recently launched the Thalia Sodi collection, inspired by the singer’s unique, vibrant style. “I always loved fashion every since I was a little girl,” said Thalia, who phoned the Lawndale Bilingual Newspaper on Monday to talk about her latest venture. “I used to dress up my dolls and have fun accessorizing their outfits. I took that passion with me when I started my music career. I loved putting my look together and creating outfits that represented my personality. My outfits were fun, colorful, vibrant…so I put all that into my collection.”

The Thalia Sodi collection, an exclusive collection at 300 of Macy’s stores nationwide, includes figure-flattering dresses, shoes, and jewelry that compliment any woman’s lifestyle. From colorful print dresses, to sexy stilettos, to extravagant jewelry Thalia kept her fans close to her heart when designing the collection. “Latinas have busy lives. We are mothers, we are businesswomen, we are entrepreneurs, we are yogis, we are wives, we are coaches, we do it all,” said Thalia. “My collection fits into that dynamic lifestyle when a woman has to be on her feet all day and needs a daytime outfit to work at night. Working with Macy’s has been amazing at achieving that goal because it is such an iconic store. I had so much fun working with my team of people to bring quality clothes for a great price.”

The official launch of Thalia Sodi collection took place on March 5th at the retailer’s flagship Macy’s Herald Square. Currently, Thalia is planning a trip to Chicago to visit with her fans personally. “We are in the process of visiting several Macy’s stores across the country and Chicago is one of the cities we really want to go to,” said Thalia. “I hope we can make it happen and I hope women enjoy wearing the Thalia Sodi collection as much as we did creating it.” If you would like to see more of the Thalia Sodi collection, visit
