Universidad Popular (UP) has announced that it will be holding its annual health fair for women and their families on Saturday, May 9th. The fair is called “Siempre Bella, Siempre Informada” (Always Beautiful, Always Informed) and will run from 10am-2pm in UP’s community hall at 2801 South Hamlin Avenue. Local community clinics will be providing blood pressure checks, glucose checks, BMI, vision, health education, and physician referrals. Sinai Urban Health Institute will be spreading info and referrals about Helping Her Live program. At the event we will be offering free haircuts, manicures, massages, Chakras alignment for attendees.
