Cicero President Larry Dominick was recently honored with the Donald E. Stephens Award of Excellence for the wide variety of supportive and effective services provided to seniors in Cicero. At the annual highlight event for the West Central Municipal Conference (WCMC) on May 8, Dominick was presented the award by incoming WCMC President Christopher Getty, Mayor of Lyons, and other WCMC officials.

Dominick has served as the President of Cicero for 10 years. During that time, he has worked toward creating a “New Cicero”, focusing on attracting new economic development, implementing anti-crime initiatives and developing new programs for children and seniors. Around 500 people attended the event at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
