The Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) is set to host nine free business education workshops for small business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the month of September. For the first time, the City will host a workshop on blogging, “How to Use Blogging to Build Your Business,” that will lay out how the company blog is becoming one of the most reliable forms of communications.

There are several other educational workshops offered during September for employers, such as how to efficiently manage business operations and how to protect a start-up. The Small Business Center (SBC) at the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection hosts free business workshops in Room 805 at City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St., Chicago on Wednesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m and Fridays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Workshops are free and conducted by city officials, BACP’s partner organizations, and experts in the industry.
