Queen of Peace High School continued the tradition of celebrating the International Day of Peace on Sept.21. Fr. William Vanecko presided over Mass for the Peace community including students, parents and the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. The honored guests of the day were alumnae from the Class of 1966, who gathered for a luncheon prior to mass. Immediately following Mass, students and guests observed the symbolic gesture of doves being released in honor of this year’s International Day of Peace theme, Partnerships for Peace –Dignity for All.
