Airbnb Announces Will Burns as Director of Midwest Policy, Senior Adviser

Airbnb, the world’s leading community-driven hospitality company, announced the hiring of Will Burns as Director, Midwest Policy and Senior Advisor. In his new role, Burns will lead the company’s efforts in the Midwest to ensure middle class families can share their homes while allowing visitors from across the globe to live like locals. Burns will also focus on strengthening the Airbnb community’s relationship with small business owners, civic leaders and community organizations. Throughout his career, Burns has worked to improve conditions and quality of life for communities around the City of Chicago. Before being elected alderman, Burns served two terms as an Illinois State Representative for the 26th district. Burns currently made the decision to step down from Chicago City Council on March 1st.
