New play to first hit Triton College stage

Triton College’s Performing Arts Department will perform a new play by Chicago Dramatists Resident Playwright Robert Koon on Feb. 27-28 and March 4-5. “Cyclist Attacked by Mountain Lion” will be presented on Triton’s River Grove campus as the fourth annual production of The Emerging Voices Project, a series created to bring opportunities to the Triton College community to work with professional playwrights and to contribute to the development of new work in the Chicago theatre scene. The production will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sunday in Cox Auditorium, located in the Fine Arts Building, Room J-108, Triton College campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for Triton students, faculty, staff and senior citizens.
