IlliniCare Health, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), held a grand opening of its community center, The Better Center, located at 4000 West Roosevelt Road Chicago. The Better Center has been relocated to a more visible and larger space – strategically located within the heart of the Lawndale community to serve IlliniCare Health members, as well as the community as a whole. At the Better Center, IlliniCare Health members and residents within the community can use the space as a resource for information on available health and social services; healthy living workshops and other educational classes; local community events, and a meeting ground for local neighborhood groups and businesses.
