McDonald’s restaurant, 7181 W. Cermak Berwyn, will celebrate its grand opening from May 5th – May 31st with special promotions and community activities. Some of the promotions include 2 for $4 Egg McMuffin, $4 McGriddle Extra Value Meal, $1 Medium Iced/Hot coffee, and $4 Daily Double Extra Value Meal. The restaurant opened its doors at 5am on May 5th. The first 100 customers received a coupon for Free Big Mac or Egg McMuffin weekly for 1 year. Later that day, the restaurant hosted a Cinco de Mayo event with live Mariachis, raffles, face painting and balloon artist. Highlights of the redesigned restaurant include: a new exterior, landscaping that compliments the community and a double-lane drive-thru with pull forward window. Inside, customers will enjoy comfortable lighting, contemporary color schemes that reflect the personality of the brand, and new furniture with natural finishes. Technological enhancements include digital menu boards and new mobile payment options at the register.
