The Chicago Park District and Airbnb representatives, Douglas Park daycampers and members of the North Lawndale community gathered to dedicate Sunshine Daydream Playground, 1850 S. Albany, during a grand opening ceremony in Douglas Park on Thursday, Aug. 11th. A Chicago Park District rep thanked Airbnb for its involvement in the unique playground. The musically themed play psace, appropriately named Sunshine Daydream Playground after the Grateful Dead’s popular that bears the same name, features a design inspired by musical instruments.
