Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) is pleased to announce that Amy M. Crowther has been promoted to Deputy Executive Director effective Aug 1st. Amy has served as Director of Chamber Services at the BDC, overseeing operations and daily administration of the organization’s membership and marketing programming as well as leading the City of Berwyn’s annual “Why Berwyn?” Integrated Marketing Campaign. Working with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and staff, the new role expands her duties across business lines to help lead the BDC’s strategic initiatives for future growth. Crowther has been with the BDC since June 2008. Prior to her tenure in Berwyn, she worked as a Community Investment Specialist at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Amy holds a Master of Urban Planning from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in Community and Economic Development.
