Cook County Assessor Joseph Berrios announced his office will participate in Alderman Howard Brookins’ 5th Annual Community Health Fair. Representatives from the Cook County Assessor’s Office (CCAO) will be present to explain the assessment and appeal process and help homeowners determine what money-saving exemptions they may be entitled to. “Our property tax outreach specialists provide personal, local access to information,” Berrios said. “We look forward to participating in the fair and want homeowners to have all the tools necessary to understand the assessment and exemption process.” The Community Health Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 12th from 10a.m., to 2p.m., at 9321 S. Ashland Ave., in Chicago.
