Planned Parenthood of Illinois’ Rogers Park health center hosted a ribbon cutting to commemorate the new location. This new health center is easily accessible and conveniently located near the CTA’s Broadway bus line (the #36) and the Red line, has 12 free parking spaces for patients, an additional exam room, and increased space overall. The center has more than 1,000 square feet of additional space which allows for an additional exam room and the ability to see more patients. The first day for seeing patients at the new health center was Tuesday, September 26th. “When looking for a new location (after the building sold in 2016) it was very important to stay in the neighborhood to offer the continuity of care to our patients.” Said Jennifer Welch, president & CEO, Planned Parenthood of Illinois. “This health center has been fully designed for patient convenience—with ample parking, same day or next day appointments, on-line scheduling, free Wi-Fi in the waiting room and cell phone chargers.” For more information, visit www.ppil.org.
