On Thursday, Feb. 15th, Heritage Middle School, 6850 31st St., Berwyn, is inviting members of the Berwyn community to a special civics and social studies-themed Family Night. The engaging and interactive event will showcase young leadership throughout Berwyn, while introducing the community to different civic education programs at Heritage Middle School. Students from Our American Voice (OAV) will be on-hand to assist members of the community with online voter registration. Berwyn City Clerk Marge Paul will also discuss early voting as well as a local storm water research project. Attendees will have the opportunity to play games, participate in social science-themed activities and listen to presentations on several student-led projects and fundraisers. Family Night is open to Berwyn residents of all ages.
