Woman Empowered for Civic Engagement will hold a Judge’s Forum on Thursday, February 15, 2018.  Candidates for 2nd Sub- Circuit Court Judge will participate. This Forum will be at the Pullman Parent University at Corliss High School located at 821 East 103rd Street. The doors will open at 4:45 pm, there will be a meet/greet reception from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, followed by the forum starting promptly at 6p.m., to 8p.m. The purpose of the Candidate Forum is to educate voters about the importance of knowing who they are seating as judges and give the judge candidates an opportunity to discuss the issues of importance to them. The candidates will answer written questions from the public during this moderated event. A Woman Empowered for Civic Engagement member will moderate the forum and Michael Stuttley, Esq. retired emeritus of being a Supervising Judge of Cook County for Juvenile Court and Harold Davis a community organizer and radio host of ‘Butt Naked Truth”, will be the facilitators.  Woman Empowered for Civic Engagement will follow the nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format established and published by the League of Women Voters Minnesota. All events are free and open to the public and the media.
