Hispanics In Energy presented their Visionary Hispanic Energy Leader Award to Illinois Commerce Commissioners John R. Rosales and Sadzi Martha Oliva at a recent reception in Washington, D.C. Hispanics in Energy is a community-driven, non-profit organization designed to facilitate Hispanic inclusion in America’s energy industry. Commissioners Oliva and Rosales are two of only four Hispanic Utility Commissioners in the country.  Governor Bruce Rauner appointed Commissioner Oliva to a five-year term as ICC Commissioner on January 17, 2017.  She is the first Latina member of the Illinois Commerce Commission.  Commissioner Rosales was appointed Commissioner by Governor Bruce Rauner on March 16, 2015.  Since his appointment to the ICC, Commissioner Rosales has become very active in the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and most recently was appointed to the Board of Directors.
