Record crowds took over Cicero’s fair grounds over the weekend to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Hosted by Town President Larry Dominick and the Cicero Mexican Cultural Committee, festival goers enjoyed a weekend of carnival rides, live music, delicious food, and soccer tournament. “Cicero’s festival is the premier Cinco de Mayo event in all of Chicagoland,” said Dominick. “It doesn’t matter if you are Mexican, Mexican-American, or hailing from anywhere else in the world, this celebration is a great way to have a fun time and start the warm-weather season in Cicero.”
