12th Ward-On September 24th, 2018 Alderman Cardenas joined community members for the grand opening of Oak Street Health’s new Little Village clinic on 26th St and Sacramento Ave. This clinic will provide easier access to quality medical care to seniors in Little Village and throughout the southwest side. Welcome to the 12th Ward, Oak Street Health!  As the Chicago City Council Chair of the Health and Environmental Protection Committee, Alderman Cardenas celebrates 2-3 new health centers and resources a year in the 12th Ward plus several health fairs such as his annual Back to School Health Fair.
