First Midwest Bank, one of the largest independent banks throughout Chicago and in Illinois, held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the company’s new headquarters in Chicago. The relocation from Itasca to the City comes as First Midwest is experiencing five years of continued growth. The new four floor headquarters is located at 8750 Bryn Mawr Avenue and will house more than 300 local employees. First Midwest worked closely with Chicago-based, world-renowned architect Gensler to create an environment that promotes wellness and teamwork supported by lots of natural light, communal spaces, flexible work spaces and advanced technology.
