On Tuesday, Jan. 8th, more than 200 high school seniors from more than 40 CPS schools showcased their artwork during the opening reception of the annual CPS All-City High School Senior Portfolio Exhibition at SAIC Neiman Center. The exhibition featured student work from a variety of art forms including drawings, paintings, sculptures, textile, video, audio media projects, and more. In partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), this year’s exhibition provided students with a unique opportunity to present their creativity and achievements in arts to the public in a highly visible gallery space in the Loop while also gaining exposure among selected admissions representatives of various colleges and universities.
