The Chicago City Council Latino Caucus Foundation announced the opening of its Foundation’s scholarship program for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Foundation will award 26 scholarships of $5,000 each to qualified students from across Chicago.  The Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation (501c3) was founded by the Latino Caucus to serve as a vehicle for improving access to higher education by way of scholarships, internships, and mentoring opportunities for Chicago’s Latino youth. The Foundation has provided $230,000 in scholarships to 45 students since 2016. Students can apply online via the Caucus’ website at www.ccclatinocaucus.org/clcf-scholarship. The deadline to submit an application is April 5th, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
