Money Smart Week 2019 Offers Hundreds of Free Events

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has announced that Money Smart Week©—a national campaign that offers thousands of free events to help consumers better manage their personal finances—will be held March 30 through April 6.  In the Chicagoland area, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will and McHenry counties, there are more than 500 free events provided by volunteer partners. Events examples include:

Do We Have your Money? – Fountaindale Public Library – Bolingbrook, March 30

Property Taxes 101 – Morton Grove Library, April 1

I Graduated with Student Loans – Harold Washington Library Center – Chicago, April 5

Money Smart Week is coordinated by the Chicago Fed with the help of a network of local partners across the country who deliver lessons and coach consumers.  To register for an event, visit moneysmartweek.org/events.
