Bright Promises Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding and supporting programs that help at-risk children and youth in the metropolitan Chicago area, is proud to announce the Elevating Youth Voices Fair, taking place at the Columbia College Conaway Center, 1104 S. Wabash, in Chicago on Saturday, June 1, from 12 to 3 p.m. The fair is free and open to the public. More than 100 youth leaders representing more than 20 organizations will participate in the fair, where they will educate the public and other civic leaders on how they are taking the lead to bring about positive change in their communities, tackling issues such as youth homelessness, access to mental health services, violence reduction and prevention and more. Of the more than 20 organizations presenting at the fair, Bright Promises will select five organizations that demonstrate outstanding impact to receive a $10,000 grant. The final grant recipients will receive their awards at Bright Promises’ 150th Anniversary Awards celebration on October 15th.  More information is available at www.brightpromises.org.
