Trinity High School announced that it has been selected to Amazon’s Future Engineer (AFE) Program – a partnership between Amazon and Edhesive to improve access to computer science education in the technology field. The Future Engineers Program is designed to inspire students in computer science and develop their interests in technology fields.  Students who enroll in computer science classes at Trinity will be eligible for substantial Amazon Future Engineer scholarship opportunities and summer internships at Amazon. This collaboration with Amazon will provide Trinity faculty with a network of STEM educators, professional development opportunities and curricular resources in order to help students learn essential skills that they can apply to many areas of study and prepare them for a technological world. A cornerstone of this program is Trinity’s Coding Class, an elective introduction to computer science class that helps Trinity students develop a foundational understanding in core computer science and programming concepts.  Learn more at www.amazonfutureegineer.com, including how students can access college scholarships and internships at Amazon.
